Wow how time flies when your having fun and raising kids! Well April came and went.. we had Maverick's MRI, this was his seventh MRI since he was born... WOW.. that is CRAZY. He did amazing as always, such a little trooper, complained very little except when they stuck him for his IV of course.. the results were fantastic. They came back clear, no new signs of any tumor, and the area of scar tissue on the back side of his liver was less noticeable this time. We could not of been happier. His tumor markers also took a big jump down in the right direction. YAY! Praise the Lord Almighty!
We decided to take a little family trip and Ryan, I and the kids headed to Dallas and Fort Worth for Easter weekend. The kids had a blast! We went to the acquarium, Ikea, malls, Fort Worth Stockyards, and ate some GOOD food!
Back home we did some easter egg hunting with Ryans family.. the kids really liked that!
May came and we participated in the Amarillo Relay for Life walk - Team Maverick. It was quite an experience and so glad we got to be a part of it this year. We are so thankful to everyone who donated to us this year and who helped us do the walk! We have so many wonderful family and friends who are always there for us! THANK YOU!
My niece Emma had her first communion in May too! We were so excited for her and so glad we could celebrate her day all together!

How blessed we are, to have such a healthy and happy family!
New news... Ryan was offered a position in Amarillo with AISD at Hamlet Elementary School. I know he is so sad to leave behind his school family in Dumas and we all appreciate so much them being there for us during the toughest years of our lives. Thank you! Ryan is excited to take on this new adventure and ready to stop driving an hour each way to work.. I know he will do great at his new school, he will be teaching 4th grade science and math!! Way to go babe!
Until next time...enjoy life to the fullest..
